The Energy Conservation and Commercialisation (ECO) is a Bilateral Project Agreement was signed between the Government of India (GOI) and the United States in 2000 with the objective to enhance commercial viability and performance of the Indian energy sector as well as to promote utilisation of clean and energy-efficient technologies in the sector. ECO-III's overall objective was to continue to assist the GOI in the implementation of the Energy Conservation Act 2001 by building on the earlier phases of the ECO project, with activities aligned with BEE's focus areas as proposed in the 11th Five Year Plan.

Their aim is to promote the exchange of ideas and development of the world economy, culture, science and technology, to allow exhibitors to publicise and display their achievements and improve international relationships. The 2010 World Expo was held in Shanghai, China from the 30th April to 31st October 2010. The theme of the exposition was "Better City - Better Life". Over 73 million people visited the Shanghai Expo and 250 countries and international organizations participated in it.
Climate Miles consultant was appointed by the UNEP Sports and Environment Unit to conduct the Final Environmental Review of the Expo through a study of the impact of various sustainability interventions during the expo and development of environmental policy recommendations for application across the city of Shanghai and neighbouring region.

and administrations are dedicated to providing a challenging, friendly and supportive
environment for learning and growing. Meridian School had an affiliation with the
British Council for a project titled the Sustain Our World Programme which included a
partnership with a UK based school. Meridian required an external expert to come in
as project implementation partners.
The program aimed to develop the children’s understanding of the Brundtland
definition for sustainable development, while communicating the interplay
between concepts such as global citizenship, diversity, human rights, social justice,
interdependence, values and perceptions and conflict resolution so as to help students
recognise the impact of unequal power and access to resources. . All the students of
Grade 6 were included to conduct the SOW workshop. It was realized that during the
deployment of the project by EcoSlate many quiet and reserved students found their
standing and came out of their shells to express their understanding of Sustainability
EcoSlate facilitated participation of the D.Y.Patil School in Mumbai in the EUMIND
programme by developing and deploying a customised curriculum. The school was
subsequently selected as a member school of the EUMIND network.
